Ted: För kärlekens skull (English lit.'"Ted: For Love's Sake"'), also known as Ted: Show Me Love,[2] is a Swedish film directed and written by Hannes Holm and produced by Lena Rehnberg. Starring Adam Pålsson and Peter Viitanen as Ted and Kenneth Gärdestad, respectively, the film is loosely based on the life of Ted Gärdestad, who was one of Sweden's best-known pop artists in the s, and that of his brother Kenneth, who wrote the lyrics for Ted's songs but did not share his fame.[3]
The film was released on 3 January in Sweden by Stella Nova Film. It includes a number of Ted and Kenneth Gärdestad's songs, performed by Adam Pålsson.

Ted Arnbjörn Gärdestad (Swedish pronunciation:[ˈtɛdːˈjæ̂ːɖɛˌstɑːd]; 18 February 22 June ) was a Swedish singer, songwriter, musician and actor known internationally as Ted. Gärdestad began his acting career in and began playing music in , signing with Polar Music. Assigned with in-house producers Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, Gärdestad released his first single, "Hela världen runt," in late and worked closely with the kvartet members of ABBA to create his debut skiva Undringar (). As Polar Music's best-selling solo artist (aside from ABBA), he continued to work with the group members throughout the s, releasing three more albums Ted (), Upptåg () and Franska Kort (), which were moderately successful.
